WWSPS Online Learning Information Overview
Dear Parents & Carers,
Due to the rapidly changing situation we are facing in schools at this time, please see below a reminder of the learning options we are providing for our students.
NSW DoE Learning From Home Resource
This is an information source for parents state wide which provides teaching and learning information in the event of a prolonged school closure or student absence. https://education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/curriculum/learning-from-home
Woy Woy South PS Resources
Hard Copy Work Booklet (paper) – This booklet will be sent home with students today. These booklets will be available from the school office as long as the school is operational. Please be aware that there will not be ongoing/updated versions of these booklets produced. The booklets are a short term measure and online learning will become the preferred mode in the event of an extended closure.
Online Learning Programs (subscriptions paid for by WWSPS) – These 5 main platforms available include:

Prodigy Maths - https://www.prodigygame.com/ (Stage 3 only)
Worldbook Online - https://www.worldbook.com.au/product/world-book-student/ (not available for Kindergarten)
Typing Tournament - https://www.typingtournament.com/
Note: Teachers have provided students with their personal passwords to each of these sites.
Google Classroom -
All WWSPS classes are connected to Google Classroom. This is a platform where teachers can upload suggested activities and will be useful in the event of a more long term closure. Again, teachers have provided students/families with passwords and instructions on how to access this resource. A video on how to access Google Classroom will also be uploaded to the WWSPS Facebook page shortly.
For further information from your classroom teacher, please call the school office and the teacher will return your call as soon as possible.
